WELCOME!
The apostle John wrote, "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me." [John 15:4, KJV]
Commenting on this text, Clarke, in his Bible commentary, writes that to abide in Him means to "hold fast faith and a good conscience; and let no trials turn you aside from the truth." And when Christ promises to abide in us, He is giving us assurance that "ye shall receive every help and influence from me that your souls can require, in order to preserve and save them to eternal life."
In an age where the Interent is littered with everything (good and bad alike), it is our hope that you will be spitirually nurished by the information you find on our site. May you be blessed by our sermons, feel closer to your church family through the avenues of our newsletter and calendar, intellectually stiumulated by our Biblical resources, and inspired to serve your Savior by the ministries we support. Most importantly, we encourage you to stay fully dependent on the Vine, for it is only by putting Jesus first that we are able to be fruit-bearing branches.
Grow in Him!
